MANUFACTURING PROCESSES

How Height-Adjustable Desk Frame Components Are Manufactured

Onmuse carries out in-house metal production for height-adjustable desk frame components, including cutting and machining, forming and welding, plus selected surface and component processes.

Different components require different processes depending on their design, material and product configuration.

Metal Cutting & Machining

Laser cutting, CNC processing, drilling, tapping and milling are used where the frame component design requires cutting, holes, threads or machined interfaces.

Forming & Welding

Grooving, punching, bending and deburring are used to shape frame and structural components before assembly. Robotic or manual welding is used depending on the component design and production requirements.

Surface & Component Processing

Powder coating is applied to applicable metal components after the required fabrication steps. Die-cast components may also be used where specified by the product configuration.

What to Verify

PartProcessProduction Evidence

When comparing manufacturers, look beyond the equipment list. Check which component the process applies to, how that component is produced, and what production evidence can be provided for the relevant process.

QUALITY CONTROL & ORDER RELEASE

How an Order Moves Through QC to Shipment Release

Onmuse applies order-level quality controls from incoming and production-stage checks through corrective action, packing identification and shipment release.

The exact inspection points depend on the product, configuration and order requirements.

01 · Check During Production

Incoming materials and components are checked against the applicable order and production requirements. First-article and in-process inspections are used where relevant.

Nonconforming items are separated, corrected and reinspected before proceeding to the next stage.

02 · Pack & Identify the Order

Packing is set for the specific product and configuration. Protective materials, carton identification and labels are used as needed so order items remain identifiable during packing and shipment preparation.

Packing photos are retained for each order as part of the order record.

03 · Final Check & Release

Applicable batch orders may include AQL-based pre-shipment inspection before release.

Each order requires an internal Inspection Report for release, with QC and Production Manager approval. Any required corrective work must be closed and reinspected before the order is released.

PRODUCT EVIDENCE · MANUFACTURER QUALIFICATION

Match Product Evidence to the Desk or Frame You’re Buying

When evaluating a height-adjustable desk manufacturer, the number of certificates or reports matters less than whether the relevant evidence can be connected to the desk frame, complete desk or configuration you are considering.

01 · Evidence for the Product Under Review

Check whether the available evidence relates to the desk frame, complete desk or electrical configuration being discussed, rather than relying only on certificate names or logos.

02 · Evidence Scope Matters

Evidence for one model or configuration should not automatically be treated as evidence for the manufacturer’s entire height-adjustable desk range.

Review Specific Documents When Needed

If your supplier evaluation requires confirmation of a specific report, applicable model, document scope or available technical file, continue to the Technical Documents page for detailed review.

MANUFACTURER QUALIFICATION

Turn the Manufacturer Review into a Shortlist Decision

Before moving forward, confirm that the manufacturer can support the products you are considering with relevant manufacturing capabilities, order controls and product evidence.

Manufacturer & Supply Scope

Does the manufacturer’s actual supply scope match the desk frames, complete desks or project requirements you are evaluating?

Manufacturing & Order Control

Can the relevant production processes, inspection steps, packing identification and order-release controls be connected to the products or orders under review?

Evidence Support

Can relevant product evidence be matched to the product or configuration you are considering, with specific document applicability checked when required?

If these fundamentals are in place, continue to the appropriate product, OEM, bulk-order, technical-document or quotation route.
