Frame Shapes and Structure

Find a Leg Shape You Like

Desk frames come with different leg shapes. Take a look at our U-shaped, loop-leg and slant-leg designs to see which you prefer.

Slant-Leg Frames

Slant legs angle outward rather than running straight down. The 98° angle marked in the illustration makes the outward slant easier to see.

See How a Complete Frame Fits Together

Leg shape is only one part of a frame. On the D360 product page, you can see the legs, upper beam, crossbeam and connection points, and how these parts fit together and are secured.

What Does Your Project Require?

Before choosing a product, check your tabletop dimensions, preferred frame finish and color, and any other requirements that may affect your choice.

Tabletop Dimensions

Check the tabletop’s length, width and thickness. Some frames can only be used with tabletops within certain size ranges. You’ll also need to check how the tabletop mounts to the frame, whether it has enough support, and whether the finished table will be stable.

Finish and Color

Note your preferred frame finish and color. Once you’ve chosen a frame series, check which options are available. If you need a non-standard color, ask whether a minimum order quantity applies.

Standard or Project-Specific Requirements

A standard frame may already suit your project. If you need a particular size, shape, color or configuration, you can explore custom options.

What Should You Check Next?

Once you’ve chosen a frame model, use the sections below to check the technical details that matter to your project.

Will the Frame Work with Your Tabletop?

After choosing a frame, check the tabletop dimensions and how the top will be mounted. The tabletop is usually 10 mm longer and wider than the corresponding frame dimensions. Refer to the details for your model for exact measurements.

Check Tabletop Compatibility and Mounting

Do You Need to Check Frame Size, Stability or Leveling?

The number of crossbeams can affect stability, particularly when frame sizes differ. Leveling adjustment ranges also vary between some models, so check the details for the frame you choose.
