Our History
Onmuse was founded in 1998 in Baiyun District, Guangzhou, China, initially focusing on panel-based office workstations.
2005–2011 — Manufacturing Expansion
Expanding In-House Manufacturing
From 2005 to 2011, Onmuse expanded its in-house manufacturing capabilities from hardware production into solid-wood and painted furniture and upholstered furniture. In 2007, the Guangzhou Onmuse Industrial Park was established as the company continued to expand its manufacturing operations. By 2011, Onmuse had developed in-house production capabilities across several major furniture categories.

2011–2013 — Internationalization and Brand Development
Moving into International Business
Onmuse began international business and exports in 2012. During this period, the company also strengthened product planning and brand development, followed by a major visual identity update and the redesign of its factory and office environment in 2013.

In 2018, the company completed a major ERP upgrade and expanded its use across production planning and management.

2020–2022 — Broader Commercial Development
Strengthening Design and Broadening Commercial Scope
From 2020, Onmuse placed greater emphasis on brand development and original product design. In 2021, the company expanded into education and apartment-related commercial furniture, broadening its commercial furniture offering. In 2022, a new multi-level showroom was developed to present a wider range of Onmuse products.
